Want In? Here’s How to Make Your Own

If you’re ready to hop on this viral trend, follow these simple steps:

“You can also watch this tutorial video to learn about the steps”

Step 1: Get Your Prompt Using ChatGPT

Start by using ChatGPT to generate a video idea. Ask for a selfie style or POV style prompt that describes an animal recording a vlog. You can get as detailed or playful as you like. describe the setting, mood, lighting, camera angle, and even background activity.

TIP: Be very specific! you can mention these details in your prompt.

    • Camera angle (POV from phone)
    • Mood (serious, funny, dramatic)
    • Weather or background setting
    • Video duration (max 8 seconds)

This detail matters! Without it, your video might come out looking completely different like this failed example here:

Don’t want to write your own?

Here is the prompts I used:

    PART 1. VLOG INTRO
    “The Search Begins

Generate an 8 second video. The camera POV is from a smartphone held by a monkey named Moko, who is using a selfie stick to vlog himself in a lush jungle. Moko is facing the camera and walking forward while enthusiastically starting his vlog. The lighting is warm, with golden sunlight streaming through jungle foliage. He looks into the camera with excitement, adjusting angles slightly like an experienced vlogger. Add subtle shaky-cam movement to simulate handheld filming. Background: birds chirping, light rustling.

    Monkey Dialogue :
“What’s up jungle squad! It’s your boy Moko and today, we’re on a mission. Three days, no bananas, and the fam’s getting hangry. But I’ve got a feeling today’s the day. Let’s find those bananas!”

Moko gives a confident smile, points ahead with his free hand, then moves forward into the jungle, keeping eye contact with the camera.

PART 2. Through the Jungle “Weather & Poisonous Mushrooms”

Generate an 8 second video. Continue the vlog from the phone camera’s POV, still handheld by Moko on a selfie stick as he hikes deeper through the jungle. The terrain is denser now. thick green leaves, vines, scattered tree trunks. He speaks to the camera while navigating. Add a few quick pans to show the surroundings, and one zoom-in on a strange, glowing mushroom on the forest floor. The jungle is hot, humid, and full of ambient sounds: buzzing insects, distant animal calls.

    Monkey Dialogue :
“Okay, update time it’s hot. Like, jungle-sweaty hot. And we just saw a mushroom that looked like it could kill a hippo. Definitely not banana-shaped.”

Moko zooms in on the poisonous-looking mushroom, makes a disgusted face, then swings the camera back toward himself with a playful smirk and keeps moving forward.

    PART 3. The Banana Win!

Generate an 8 second video from the selfie camera’s point of view, as if the phone is filming Moko directly while he holds it on a selfie stick. Moko, the monkey vlogger, emerges from thick jungle foliage into a bright, sunlit clearing. His face lights up with excitement as he spots a tree full of ripe, golden bananas.

The camera captures Moko’s full reaction in a close up selfie shot. eyes wide, mouth open, breathing excitedly. He keeps the phone pointed at himself while rushing forward. The background shows vibrant jungle details and golden light filtering through palm leaves. As he talks directly into the lens, he reaches up with his free hand, pulls down a banana, and dramatically bites into it. His expression is pure joy. Here is the dialouge for moko the talking monkey:

    Monkey Dialogue :
“Yo! We did it! Bananas secured! Let’s gooo! Oh man, this tastes like victory. this one’s for the family, baby!”

After the bite, Moko brings the banana up close to the lens with pride. He does a happy jump, still holding the camera toward himself, and finishes with a huge, satisfied grin, bananas in hand, still fully framed in selfie view.

    stormtrooper Vlogs

    Part 1

A selfie vlog recorded directly from a phone’s front facing camera. The view is exactly what the phone sees: a Stormtrooper holding the phone with one hand at a natural selfie angle. The framing shows his helmet and upper body centered, with a subtle hand shake. He’s standing in a quiet corridor aboard a Star Destroyer, with soft sci fi lights and blinking panels behind him. The background is still, giving focus to his voice and expression. The scene feels casual and real, like a trooper trying to become a content creator. Front facing phone camera POV only, NOT filmed by another camera. Vertical, selfie-style video. Slight shakiness from hand. No fisheye, no cinematic filters. Looks like a raw social media vlog clip recorded on a phone.

“So I heard Stormtrooper vlogs are getting a ton of views lately… figured I’d give it a shot and film my own. Let’s see if the algorithm favors the Empire today.”

    Part 2

A realistic Star Wars stormtrooper recording a selfie vlog on a dusty film set resembling Tatooine. The stormtrooper is holding a phone in selfie mode, slightly tilted like a social media influencer. The camera is shaky and handheld, capturing his upper body and helmet as he talks. Behind him, other stormtroopers walk around in the background, and film crew members are partially visible setting up equipment. One boom mic briefly dips into frame and pulls back. The sun is bright and casting harsh shadows. The scene looks hot and dry. The stormtrooper speaks with a sarcastic, tired tone as if breaking the fourth wall. Cinematic but slightly raw and handheld. Realistic lighting. Slight lens distortion from the phone. Motion blur as he shifts the camera a little.

“Okay, day 26 on set. still can’t hit a target, still sweating in this plastic oven… and yes, Vader did step on my cape again.”

    Part 3

POV of a selfie video filmed directly from a phone’s front camera, held by a stormtrooper while sitting in the Death Star mess hall. The camera is angled naturally at arm’s length, showing the helmet up close with a tray of unappetizing gray food in front. Other troopers are seated in the background, eating silently or chatting. Fluorescent lights flicker slightly above. The trooper speaks directly into the camera in a tired, annoyed tone. Selfie camera POV. Slight digital grain and jitter. A little shake when he gestures with one hand.  Deadpan humor, cafeteria vibes. Sterile lighting, echoey interior audio.

“They say we’re clones, but explain this food. Even my helmet’s disappointed. It fogged up in protest.”

    Part 4

Selfie POV video from a stormtrooper hiding behind crates on a dark Star Destroyer set. The phone is held close to the helmet, slightly tilted. The background shows dim corridor lighting and distant stomping sounds (Vader approaching). The trooper whispers into the phone, helmet slightly fogged from stress. There’s a crew member pretending to sweep quietly in the back. Front camera, handheld selfie style. Dim lighting, shaky and zoomed slightly in panic. Suspenseful but funny. Low lighting, dramatic shadows, faint mechanical noises.

“Okay, uh… hiding behind props. If Vader asks, I was never the guy who dropped the blaster in the toilet.”

    Part 5

A selfie video recorded directly from a phone’s front facing camera, held by a Stormtrooper at arm’s length. The trooper is standing in a behind-the-scenes hallway on a Star Wars film set; crates, costume racks, or cables are faintly visible behind him. The video looks exactly like a social media vlog. He’s framed from the chest up, slightly shaking the phone as he talks. One gloved finger briefly points at the screen near the end. Tone is casual and upbeat. Front camera POV only. No third person shots. Realistic phone selfie angle slightly shaky, medium framing, vertical format. No fisheye or cinematic effects.

“Alright, that’s a wrap! Like and follow, and comment ‘Empire’ I’ll send the vlog tutorial. See ya!”
